Welcome to Desert Rock Winery & Distillery, a winery, distillery, and tasting room located in north Scottsdale. As the owner and CEO of Desert Rock Industries, my vision here was simple: I wanted to create a brand in the valley that nurtured the prestine, hand-crafted wine making process perfected by the California sunrise, accompanied by various spirits that have been a part of my life’s journey. I wanted a brand so diverse, yet something that specifically defined Arizona in terms of its unique lifestyle, rich cuisine culture, and elegance that is second to none.
The end result was Desert Rock Industries, a locally-owned parenting brand that umbrellas our numerous wine and spirit lines that encompasses Arizona and its beauty in the form of a palate-pleasing product.

Meet #Pumbaa our 7 year old Great Dane rescued from the Arizona Desert mid Summer(115+). He has been a mascot for @desertrockwinery #theheadtilt @drinkheadbanger & @puravidabeverages since 2021. He and his Sissy #Sassie will be looking to meet everyone at our #YappyHour events. Stay Tuned.

In AZ for a long weekend, were just out sightseeing from the safety of our rental car, and decided we were parched after walking on a pretty cool trail. Google maps lead us here and we are happy it did. Sampled two of the local vodkas and a whisky, because that’s a thing here! Ordered one of their no sugar seltzer beers, on tap (what, tap you say, why yes I do!) and the drink of the day, then pondered if the risk of a booze soaked suitcase was worth it to take some back on the plane. The Golden oak whisky, you try it and let me know if you aren’t willing to give it a shot). Then being responsible Iowan’s we grabbed our tab and were on our way. They constantly checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed, too bad we don’t live here, this is a hidden gem.
